休戚相关 [xiū qī xiāng guān]
1. be bound together in a common cause; be linked together in common joys and sorrows; be of close concern to each other; feel for other's woes; identify oneself heart and soul with sb.; interconnected with joys and sorrows; mutually affected; share sb.'s joys and sorrows; share good and bad luck; vitally interrelated彼此之间的忧喜、祸福都互相关联。
个人的命运，同民族和国家的命运休戚相关。
